Efenwealt Wystle
Efenwealt, also known as singer/songwriter Scott Vaughan, is a best described as a modern-day minstrel, and has been writing and recording music since 1989. Most of his original work is about his life as a medieval re-enactor in the Society for Creative Anachronism. He is also known for his interpretations and parodies of medieval and renaissance tunes. Efenwealt sings and plays guitar, recorders, flutes, krumhorns, bodhran (irish drum), ocarina, whistles, jew's harp, kazoo, as well as manyassorted musical toys, percussion, keyboards, and sound effects.
His music could be described as an odd blend of Monty Python, Dougie MacLean, Wierd Al Yankovic, Tom Leher, John Denver, the Muppets, and Daffy Duck.
He performs mostly solo, sometimes with his wife, and sometimes for weddings and party with the "Merry Minstrels". He lives in Cary, NC with his wife, 2 children and a cat.
