All Your Bard Are Belong To Us
Efenwealt says... So I bought this sexy new eMac in January 2004. (sexy? eMac? What are you smoking?) Anyhoo, between doing taxes, buying and selling a house, madness at my day job, and helping my wife care for our 2 children, I finally managed to crank this bad boy out. I had a whole lot of fun recording it, and learning to play with my new technology. Lots of fun surprises are sprinkled in. I think this is a great disc for post revels, or driving to an event. As usual, all the sound effects, silly voices, and sophmoric humor help to make up for my general lack of talent and musicianship. :-)

The Songs samples below are very lo-resolution MP3 versions.

- Lauda - another 14th century piece that I just like and wanted to record.
- A Sad Song by the lovely and talented Lady Eleanor Fairchild
- Pennsic Lovin' - karaoke filk nonsene. Blame Aenor.:-)
- Stantipes - an English, medieval dance tune
- My Old Man by the incomparable Lord Valentine Warner
- Santa Maria - My totally funkified Enigma-esque arrangement of a 13th century Spanish folk song.
- Fair Maid of Islington - a 16th century bawdy broadside ballad.
- Three Ravens Lookin' Down on you - Karaoke rock and roll twist on an old Ravenscroft ballad.
- En Ma Dame - a pretty rippin' arrangement of a 13th century Trouvere piece
- The Court Song (wanna wanna) by the master of ceremonies himself, steward of the Sing Thing, and folky's folkie, the amazing, the big hearted, the very very tall Aed of Avigdor.
